Philanthropy

Our philanthropy is children's cancer research. Nationally Tridelta has a partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, but here at Butler, our chapter also supports Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer as well. We do a few different philanthropy events throughout the fall and spring semesters to raise money for both of these organizations, including Alex's Lemonade Stand, Trideltathon, FlapJack Attack, and Sincerely Yours. Our philanthropy is very important to us, therefore many of the girls in our chapter make the effort to go and visit St. Jude atleast once during their time at Butler. Some girls have visited on their own time during the summer, whereas others have gone on our organized trip to St. Jude. Our chapter has already taken one trip down to Memphis during fall break last year, and there is atleast one more trip planned for this upcoming school year. Some girls also get the amazing opportunity to visit St. Jude during the Collegiate Leadership Conference, where Trideltas and other students from all over the country get together to celebrate how special this hosptial really is.
